Last January, I visited the great state of Missouri. Due to technical difficulties I (at first) wasn’t able to post as many food pictures as I had hoped. Thankfully, I’ve fixed the problem so expect a STL post here and there. On my last day in St. Louis before heading out for the airport, my wonderful friends S&T took us all to a delightful deli called Pickles. After a weekend of non-stop eating, I was in the mood for a healthy-ish meal. So naturally, the Mediterranean Wrap at Pickles caught my attention. In my wrap, there were black olives, cucumbers, roasted red and yellow peppers, red onions, mixed greens, feta, greek dressing all on a grilled pita. I love Mediterranean-inspired cuisine for its freshness and natural ingredients. This pita wrap was just that: perfectly refreshing and light! I’ll admit this though, while I ate my Mediterranean Wrap, I couldn’t help but check out the sandwiches my friends were eating: French Dip served with Au Jus (AH-JUICE) and the Corned Beef Brisket sandwich. I was jealous, but not that jealous because my sandwich was still good. My only request: if anybody knows where I can get Zabihah French Dip or Corned Beef Brisket, PLEASE let me know. I know I’m missing out.
